I've always found inspiration in places, people, cultures, eras, and natural surroundings. My imagination as well has always been an inspiring escape. My artistic practice includes painting, collage-making, object interpretation art, art staging, drawing, art photography, and mixed-media installations. I've exhibited artwork at Wychwood Barns Toronto, Culture Days Canada, and Nuit Blanche Toronto. Currently, I'm working on a few art collections and exhibits in England and Spain.
I received my Honours Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature and Language from Western University and a Master of Arts in Near and Middle Eastern Civilisations from the University of Toronto. Currently, I'm a PhD Candidate at Western University, and my research focuses on improving museum education accessibility for the Al-Andalus collection at the Aga Khan Museum. For over a decade, I worked in the not-for-profit sector in Canada and abroad, creating and managing education, cultural, and social service programs, especially in neighbourhood improvement areas.
